COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Police Robbery Unit seeks assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery on June 29. At about midday, the suspect demanded money and cigarettes from an employee at gunpoint at an E. 5th Ave. business, entering from an adjacent alley. Following compliance from the employee, the suspect promptly exited the premises.
The suspect is a male, described as Black, around 30-35 years old, 5’11”, weighing approximately 150 pounds, of medium complexion, and bearded. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black toboggan, black vest, and black shirt.
