Man Shot In Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department have asked the public for assistance in locating a vehicle linked to a shooting that took place on Tuesday in Southeast D.C. The incident occurred specifically at the 1400 block of 18th Place, and investigators are requesting any information that could aid in identifying the vehicle.

Responding to a shooting report, officers arrived at the location at approximately 4:55 pm. They discovered an adult male victim who had sustained a gunshot injury. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital. The injuries are reported as non-life-threatening.
