WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 40-year-old man was shot and killed, and another man was shot in Southeast D.C. just after midnight Saturday morning.
Shortly after 12 am, officers from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department arrived at the 500 Block of Parkland Place to investigate a report of a shooting. At the location, police found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A second gunshot victim was found at a nearby hospital suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
40-year-old Michael Cary, of D.C., was identified as the victim.
