BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – Noe Gabriel Hernandez, a 24-year-old resident of Allentown, PA, and Juan Rosario, a 25-year-old also from Allentown, face charges for burglary, theft, and criminal mischief, as recently announced by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.

On Monday, March 20, a theft involving roughly 17 catalytic converters from Bergen County’s vehicles was reported at 178 Essex Street, Lodi, NJ. Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Office were informed of the incident and launched an investigation with the Sheriff’s Office. A second burglary was reported on Monday, May 1, at the same County facility, where two more converters were found missing.

Following the investigation, Hernandez and Rosario were identified as suspects. Last Friday, Hernandez was located and arrested without incident by detectives from the Prosecutor’s Office. Hernandez and Rosario were each charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. Hernandez is currently held in Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in the Central Judicial Processing Court, Hackensack, NJ. An arrest warrant has been issued for Rosario.
