Piscataway, NJ — The Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD) and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO) have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a deceased male on Busch Campus at Rutgers University. The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 AM on June 27, 2023. The individual was identified as a student and a member of the university community.
Authorities have stated that no foul play is suspected in relation to the incident, and they have assured the public that there is no immediate threat to safety. The RUPD and MCPO are working diligently to gather all available information and determine the cause of the student’s death.
