NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected with a grand larceny case that unfolded in the 121 Precinct. The incident occurred on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at around 4:15 am.
A 43-year-old woman’s vehicle was parked and unlocked at 127 Park Drive North. During the vehicle’s unattended period, an unidentified person entered the vehicle and stole a purse containing approximately $1,100, identification documents, a cellphone, headphones, and various credit cards. The theft led to no reported injuries.
The same day, the individual suspected of theft was spotted using the victim’s credit cards at multiple stores in Staten Island and Brooklyn. The accused spent roughly $700 using the stolen cards.
