Baltimore, Maryland – The Baltimore Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred yesterday afternoon in Northern Baltimore at the 2600 Block of Greenmount Avenue.

At approximately 12 p.m., officers from the Baltimore Police Department responded to a report of a gun discharge at the specified location. While conducting their investigation at the crime scene, officers received information about a shooting victim who had arrived at a local hospital on their own.

Upon arrival at the hospital, law enforcement discovered a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his stomach. The current condition of the victim is unknown at this time.

Based on a thorough investigation, officers believe that a verbal altercation took place between the victim and a suspect in the vicinity of the incident. Tragically, the situation escalated when the suspect allegedly fired a shot, causing injury to the victim.
