New York, NY – The New York City Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying individuals connected to a series of robberies in Midtown Manhattan

On Saturday, June 10, 2023, at approximately 10:55 a.m., three unidentified males entered High Point Cleaners at 250 East 40th Street. One of the suspects brandished a knife, threatening a 40-year-old male employee, and demanded money. Meanwhile, another suspect went behind the counter and stole around $100 from the cash register. The individuals fled the scene on foot, heading westbound on 39th Street. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this incident.

On the same day, at approximately 11:40 a.m., two unknown males entered Buttercup Bake Shop located at 167 Madison Avenue. One of the suspects displayed a knife to the female cashier and demanded money. The second suspect then proceeded to remove approximately $600 from the cash register. The perpetrators swiftly fled the scene on foot, and their direction of escape remains unknown. No injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
