WASHINGTON, D.C. – Help is being sought by detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department concerning an armed robbery incident that took place on Friday night in Southeast, D.C.’s 3300 block of 14th Place. The offense specifically involved the theft of a dog.
Shortly before 9 pm, the victim and the suspect met at the listed location to conduct a dog sale. During the transaction, an accomplice advanced toward the victim, displaying a handgun, and grabbed the puppy. The suspects then quickly left the scene.
The puppy stolen is an 8-week-old toy poodle.
