The TechUnited BetterCapital Conference & Catalyst Awards is set to take place on June 15th, 2023, as part of the North to Shore Festival in Asbury Lanes, New Jersey. This event aims to celebrate the achievements in technology within the fast-growing East Coast region of the United States and welcomes startup founders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and tech enthusiasts.
The conference will feature various celebrations and networking events throughout the day, including a Fireside Chat hosted by science champion Bill Nye and local NJ serial entrepreneur Aaron Price. The Fireside Chat will highlight the recent tech achievements and projects driving us towards a better future, while also emphasizing Nye’s passion for critical thinking and science applications in NJ Tech. VIP attendees will have the opportunity to engage in an exclusive Q&A-style discussion with Nye and Price.
John Schreiber, President and CEO of NJPAC, expressed his excitement about the festival, describing it as a month-long celebration of the state’s diversity, innovation, and remarkable creativity. The tech-focused section of the North to Shore Festival will kick off with the BetterCapital Conference, bringing together investors and funders to support early-stage founders, entrepreneurs, and startup teams. The daytime program will include pitch sessions, networking opportunities, educational panels, tech innovation showcases, and one-on-one funding opportunities.
Following a Happy Hour & Networking session at 4 p.m., the Catalyst Awards Ceremony will commence, hosting up to 300 attendees. During this ceremony, nine esteemed winners will be recognized in various categories.
