Jackson, NJ – On Saturday morning, officers from the Jackson Police Department commenced the 40th anniversary of the NJ Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.
Carrying the symbolic torch, the officers embarked on a 5-mile route from Jackson Township to Lakewood, marking a leg of this significant annual event.
The annual run aims to raise funds and awareness for the NJ Special Olympics, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities through sports.
The Jackson Police Department Honor Guard had the privilege of participating in the opening ceremony at TCNJ college.
