Armed Robbery at Ranch Liquors Under Investigation in Lusby

LUSBY, MD – On Monday, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Bureau received a call regarding an armed robbery at Ranch Liquors, 246 Town Square Drive. At 12:36 p.m., deputies arrived at the scene, confirming the occurrence of the robbery. Detectives from the Criminal Investigative Bureau took over the investigation shortly afterward.

The initial investigation disclosed that a man of tan complexion, standing between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing over 200 pounds, with black hair, entered the store. He was clad in a medical-style face mask, a navy blue Gap brand sweatshirt, black latex gloves, and dark-colored shoes. Upon entry, the suspect brandished a handgun at the store employees, demanding cash from the register. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled in the direction of Town Square Drive.
