LANDOVER HILLS, MD – Andre Andrew Dougal, a 47-year-old man with no fixed address, has been charged by the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit for the murder of 31-year-old Langley Sloan, also of no fixed address. On Tuesday, at around 7:50 pm, officers were called to the 6500 block of Annapolis Road after reports of an unresponsive man outside a store. Sloan was found suffering from a stab wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives studied surveillance footage, which caught part of the incident and identified Dougal as a suspect. While searching for more information, detectives spotted Dougal in the 3800 block of 64th Avenue on Wednesday and arrested him without incident.
The initial investigation indicates that Dougal stabbed Sloan during an altercation. Both men were known to each other. Dougal is now facing first and second-degree murder charges and is in the custody of the Department of Corrections with no bond status.
