BUFFALO, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced on Thursday that Talyn D. Williams was sentenced to life in prison, with the possibility of parole after 25 years, for the murder of 28-year-old Allison Turner.

The charges resulted from an incident on June 19, 2020, when Williams fatally stabbed Turner outside his Doat Street residence. The defendant also received a one-year jail sentence for each of the two criminal contempt charges, to run concurrently with the murder sentence.

As part of the sentencing, Erie County Court Judge Shelia A. DiTullio issued a final order of protection on behalf of the first victim, valid until 2053.
