NEW YORK, NY – On Saturday, May 6,, at around 12:02 pm, an assault on a 45-year-old male MTA bus driver occurred near East 14th Street and 3rd Ave. The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying the individual involved.
The perpetrator, described as a male with a dark complexion, about 6’ tall with a medium build, boarded a westbound M14 bus after engaging in a dispute with the driver. He then assaulted the driver multiple times before fleeing the scene on a motorized scooter heading westbound on 14th Street. The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in stable condition.
