D.C. Police on the Hunt for Armed Robbery, Carjacking, and Shooting Suspects

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects and a vehicle related to Armed Robbery, Armed Carjacking, and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon incidents that occurred in Northwest, D.C., early yesterday morning.

The suspects arrived at the 1300 block of V Street, Northwest, just before 12:30 am in their vehicle, pulled out their guns, and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects left the area in their vehicle, taking the victim’s property with them.

Just after 1 am, the suspects emerged from their vehicle, and one of them approached the victim in the 1800 block of 14th Street, Northwest. A physical altercation ensued between the suspect and the victim, during which the suspect displayed a firearm and fired at the victim. The suspect then took the victim’s possessions before both suspects fled the area in their vehicle. The victim was later discovered at an area hospital seeking treatment for injuries that were not life-threatening.

At around 1:30 am, the suspects got out of their vehicle and walked up to the victim, who was inside his car in the 1700 block of 11th Street, Northwest. The suspects brandished firearms and demanded the victim’s belongings. The suspects took the victim’s property and then drove away in the victim’s vehicle. The suspect’s vehicle, driven by another suspect, also left the scene.
