NEW CASTLE, DE – On Thursday, at approximately 8:26 p.m., Delaware State Police were dispatched to a robbery at a Walgreens located at 1413 North DuPont Highway, New Castle.
Two male suspects entered the store, with one monitoring the customers while the other displayed a handgun and demanded keys to the safe from the employees. After obtaining cash from the safe and the front cash registers, the suspects fled the scene on foot towards Pennsylvania Avenue. No injuries were reported.
The first suspect is described as a black male aged 25-35 years, approximately 5’8″-5’9″ tall with a large build, and light-colored clothing. The second suspect’s identity is unknown, but he is reported as being approximately 6’3″-6’4″ tall and was wearing all dark clothing.
