New York City – A 16-year-old male was attacked in Gravesend Park on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in what appears to be a random act of violence. According to the police report, the victim was engaged in a verbal altercation with an unidentified male individual before being attacked with a knife.
The suspect fled the scene on foot and has not been apprehended.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital by private means and is reported to be in stable condition. Police have released a description of the suspect, who is described as a male in his late teens with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, blue t-shirt, and blue jeans, carrying a black book bag.
