BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ – On Friday, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Edgewater Park Township Police Chief Brett V. Evans recently announced the arrest of Yefaan Thompson, a 37-year-old resident of Willingboro, in connection with a double homicide that occurred early 2021.

Thompson was charged with two counts of Murder (First Degree), Conspiracy (First Degree), Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (Second Degree), Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (Second Degree) and Aggravated Assault (Second Degree).

Thompson was taken into custody on April 24 by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and lodged in the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly. A Superior Court judge ordered his detention pending trial.

Thompson is the second person to be charged in the murder case. Andre Price, 35, of Willingboro, was also arrested in Virginia in the summer of 2021 in connection with the same incident.

The case is now being prepared for presentation to a grand jury.
