Paris Baguette announces new bakery in Stamford

STAMFORD, CT – Paris Baguette, the global bakery cafe franchise with almost 150 locations in the United States and 4,000 worldwide, has announced its newest location in Stamford, Connecticut. This recent agreement, signed by Connecticut residents Tom Paek and Ji Hoon Kim, marks the first Paris Baguette store in the state.

Mark Mele, chief development officer of Paris Baguette, attributes the franchise’s success to its ability to embrace aggressive expansion while maintaining its bakery cafe roots. Mele stated, “No other bakery café franchisors are doing what Paris Baguette is on the same scale. Our ability to stay true to our bakery café roots while embracing aggressive expansion has garnered attention, and that only serves to drive us forward.”

The brand aims to have 1,000 locations in the United States by 2030. Mele emphasized that Paris Baguette is seeking passionate franchisees who prioritize customer service, stating, “We want someone who is going to take the time to put the right staff members in place in their store and ensure everyone understands the most important person is the guest.”

Paek and Kim, who signed the Stamford agreement, are longtime Paris Baguette customers who were drawn to the franchise’s “amazing product line, store design and proven response from communities throughout the United States,” according to Paek.

Paris Baguette is known for its unique fusion of French and Korean flavors in its pastries, breads, cakes, and sandwiches. With a growing presence in the United States, the brand is poised to continue its impressive expansion in the bakery cafe space.
