ODENTON, MD – On Sunday, at approximately 1:45 a.m., a shooting occurred at My Place Bar in Odenton. The incident began with an argument between the victim and the suspect inside the establishment. The dispute escalated, and the suspect fired multiple shots at the victim, striking him in the upper body.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown. The suspect fled the scene on foot, and authorities have launched a manhunt to locate and apprehend the individual.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’6″ tall, weighing between 150-160 lbs, and having short dreadlocks. Anyone with information about the suspect or the shooting is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.
In December, police responded to another shooting at the same location.
“Witnesses told officers there was an argument followed by two males firing shots at each other. No victims were located. One vehicle was damaged by a projectile,” detectives said today. “Multiple shell casings were recovered in the parking lot.”
