Burglary Suspect Sought After Break-In at Bronx Business

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect involved in a burglary within the 42 Precinct in the Bronx.

On Friday, at approximately 12:55 AM, the suspect broke into a closed commercial establishment at 1180 Webster Avenue.

Using burglar tools and a ladder, the suspect climbed into the establishment from the roof. Once inside, the suspect removed approximately $1,200 in cash from numerous cash registers and other miscellaneous merchandise items. The individual also damaged an ATM at the location but was unsuccessful at removing currency from the machine. The suspect used the ladder to exit the store via the roof and fled in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

The individual is described as a male with a light complexion.

Authorities have released images of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to contact the NYPD.
