44-year-old shot and killed in Baltimore, another injured

BALTIMORE, MD – Gunfire erupted in the Southwest District of Baltimore on Saturday when a shooting claimed the life of an unidentified adult male.

The incident occurred at around 8:20 p.m. on the 3800 block of Harlem Avenue.

Upon receiving the report of the shooting, Southwest District patrol officers promptly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found two victims, a 44-year-old male, and an unidentified adult male. Both were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medical personnel rushed the 44-year-old male to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries. However, the unidentified adult male was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide detectives have launched an investigation into the shooting incident. They are urging anyone with information regarding the shooting to come forward and share it with them.
