Three Arrested for Armed Robbery at 7-Eleven

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division have recently arrested and charged Chris Perez, 21, George Clarence Molina, 20, and Jonathan Schwegler, 25, for an armed robbery that occurred on April 14, at a 7-Eleven on Shady Grove Road.

The investigation revealed that Molina and Perez entered the store at around 3 a.m., with Perez approaching the employee and demanding cash. Perez assaulted the employee with a handgun before taking an undisclosed amount of cash and fleeing with Molina, who had acted as a lookout. Schwegler drove the getaway vehicle, a red Toyota.

Detectives obtained arrest warrants for the trio, charging them with armed robbery, first-degree assault, and firearm-related charges. All three suspects have been arrested and are being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.

Additionally, detectives have released surveillance images of another person of interest who arrived and left the scene on a motorcycle. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of this individual.
