PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Homicide Unit is urgently seeking information from the public regarding the brutal robbery and homicide of 76-year-old Eric Holmes. The attack occurred on October 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm near the intersection of Sharpnack and Ross St. Holmes was riding a black electric scooter when the suspect(s) approached him, robbed him, and violently assaulted him, taking his scooter, bag, and wallet. Tragically, Holmes succumbed to his injuries on December 6.
The city of Philadelphia is offering a substantial reward of $20,000 for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
