CHICAGO, IL – Chicago police have arrested Jelen Lee, 21, in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old man in the 2300 block of W. Marquette Rd. The incident occurred on March 4, 2023, at approximately 2:50 p.m.
Lee was apprehended on April 27, in the 2600 block of S. California Ave.
Members of the Chicago Police Department identified him as the individual who fatally shot the victim. Lee was taken into custody and charged with one felony count of first-degree murder and one felony count of attempted first-degree murder.
Lee appeared in Central Bond Court on April 29, 2023, where he was formally charged. No further details are available at this time.
