Woman beaten by two men, joint stolen in the Bronx

NEW YORK – A woman was beaten by three suspects, including two men and robbed of her marijuana joint outside and apartment building in the Claremont section of the Bronx.

According to police, on April 19 at approximately 8:05 pm, the three individuals were engaged in a dispute with a 28-year-old female victim in front of a residential building near East 170th Street and Morris Avenue.

Investigating detectives reported the individuals punched the victim multiple times to the face and removed the victim’s marijuana cigarette before fleeing the location on foot.

The victim sustained pain and swelling to the face as a result of the incident. The police have released the description of each individual.

The first individual is described as a male, 5’7″ in height, approximately 170 lbs, and believed to be 40-years-old. The second individual is described as a male, 5’9″ in height, approximately 210 lbs, and also believed to be 40-years-old. The third individual is described as a female, 5’1″ in height, approximately 120 lbs, and believed to be 30-years-old.
