TOMS RIVER, NJ – It’s the end of an era and the start of a new beginning for two adjacent restaurants in Toms River.
A final notice of eviction was placed on the door of the Boston Market restaurant on Route 37 in Toms River. Meanwhile, next door, an exciting new franchise is coming to town.
For Boston Market, the eviction leaves just two other locations at the Jersey Shore, one on Route 9 in Howell and one in Shrewsbury.
A report in the Asbury Park Press claims the business owed back rent and taxes.
While the news for Boston Market isn’t good, there is some good news coming from nearby. The adjacent building, formerly operated as a Perkins family restaurant, has a new tenant moving in.
