NEW YORK CITY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting after an argument in Jamaica, Queens.
On Sunday, at approximately 4:50 PM, a 46-year-old male victim became involved in a dispute with an unknown individual at 111-08 Merrick Boulevard. The suspect displayed and discharged multiple rounds from a firearm at the victim, who managed to escape unharmed. The victim’s vehicle, however, was damaged by the gunfire.
The suspect fled the scene eastbound on 111th Avenue.
The suspect is described as a male wearing all-black clothing, a red cross-body bag, and black-and-white sneakers. The NYPD has made available surveillance images and video of the suspect via their DCPI website.
