14-year-old girl reported missing in Chicago, police concerned over well-being

CHICAGO, IL – Chicago police are searching for a missing juvenile who was last seen on August 24th, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the 3500 block of E.114th St. Mackenzie Wychocki, a 14-year-old white female, was last seen wearing light pink framed glasses, a black hoodie with a red heart design on the front, black dress pants with white pinstripes, white gym shoes with rainbow accents, and carrying a gray and blue bookbag.

According to the bulletin released by the Chicago Police Area Two Special Victims Unit, Mackenzie exhibited suspicious behavior indicating that she may be depressed and suicidal. She may also be in need of medical attention. The missing juvenile is in possession of a Ventra fare card which was last used on a 30 South Chicago CTA bus. She frequents the area of 106th and Avenue B.

The police department is urging anyone with information about Mackenzie’s whereabouts to call 911 or the Chicago Police Area Two Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274. The bulletin warns that the information contained in the bulletin is confidential unless designated otherwise within the bulletin.

Mackenzie’s physical description is as follows: she is 5-02 in height, weighs 145 pounds, has brown eyes, and blonde hair. She has a fair complexion and was born on August 28th, 2008. Her NIC number is M23A7581.
