NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is investigating a series of armed robberies targeting businesses within the 106th Precinct. The suspect, described as a male of light complexion, approximately 5’6″ in height, and last seen wearing a black hoodie, black facemask, white sneakers, and black pants with white stripes, has robbed a Popeyes restaurant and a Dunkin Donuts at gunpoint. The incidents occurred on February 26 and April 12, with a total of approximately $1,200 stolen from the establishments.
Surveillance photos obtained from both incident locations have been released by the NYPD and are available at the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information (DCPI). Anyone with information about the suspect or the incidents is urged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All calls are strictly confidential.
