Police searching for couple wanted in carjacking, kidnapping in Maryland

GLEN BURNIE, MD – Police in Maryland are searching for a couple involved in a carjacking and kidnapping in Glen Burnie this past weekend. The man and woman, identifiable by her missing front tooth and heavy-set figure are now fugitives on the run from police.

An adult female victim reported being carjacked by two suspects in Anne Arundel County in the early morning hours on Sunday.

She described the suspects as a white male in his 40s with short brown hair and a heavy-set white female with light brown hair, missing a front tooth. According to the victim, the female suspect dragged her from the car with the help of the male suspect and threw her into the trunk.

The suspects drove the victim’s black 2012 Mercedes 550 sedan to Pennington Avenue above Curtis Creek, where they stopped the vehicle. The victim was pulled from the trunk and thrown over the side of the bridge and into the creek. The suspects fled the scene in the victim’s car.

The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers responded to the carjacking complaint at Crew Boats To Go, located at 6211 Old Pennington Avenue in Baltimore, at around 7 a.m. on the same day. The suspects are described as a white male, 35-40 years old, with short light brown hair and a white female, 35-40 years old, with light brown hair and a missing front tooth. The investigation is ongoing.
