MORRISTOWN, NJ – New Jersey breakfast eaters are about to find out why Florida residents love Effin Egg. The name is also a perfect fit for the New Jersey lifestyle and the restaurants will feature its ‘Dirty Jersey’ sandwich in New Jersey.
There is one Effin Egg location in Morristown and that could soon be changing.
Effin Egg, a fast casual breakfast sandwich concept based in Florida, has announced its plans for massive expansion in the state of New Jersey. Rossi Capital, a group of three brothers who recently opened an Effin Egg location in Morristown, have agreed to open 8-10 more locations across the state.
Jeff Martin, the founder of Effin Egg, expressed his excitement for the expansion, stating, “I could not be more excited for these guys, we’ve wanted to grow our footprint within the great state of New Jersey for some time and feel we’ve found the ideal partners to do just that!”
The “Dirty Jersey” sandwich, made with Taylor Ham [pork roll], has become a fan favorite in the Morristown location and is now on the Effin Egg menu.
Rossi Capital believes that the “fun, laid-back concept” appeals to all people and will be a hit as they expand in New Jersey.
Effin Egg, founded in 2019, offers twisted and fresh breakfast food, from breakfast burritos to infamous breakfast sandwiches. The company is aggressively growing and seeking partners to expand the concept across the country. In addition to food, Effin Egg apparel sales have been successful with items like “Potheads Welcome” t-shirts, coffee mugs, and hats.
Martin believes in keeping things simple, fun, and profitable for Effin Egg and its franchise owners. He wants franchisees to own multiple locations and enjoy the playful branding of the company. With the upcoming expansion in New Jersey, Effin Egg is on track to become a household name in the breakfast industry.
Let’s hope when they start opening their shops south of ‘Benny Hill’, they will properly label the sandwich ingredient as ‘pork roll’.
