Suspect In Pentagon Leaks Charged, Faces 15 Years In Prison

Authorities charged Jack Teixeira with unauthorized retention and transmission of national defense information and unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material after the Pentagon leaks.

A Massachusetts Air National Guard member, Teixeira allegedly obtained classified national defense materials with his government computer and leaked the content online. He made his first court appearance Friday after being arrested the previous day.

Teixeira faces up to 15 years in prison if found guilty, according to CBS News.
