Pittsburgh Police Arrest Bank Robbery Suspect

PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Police Department has arrested Rashon Coleman, 29, in connection with a bank robbery on Centre Avenue on Monday.

Coleman allegedly entered the bank around 4:20 PM and verbally demanded money from a teller.

He threatened that he had a weapon concealed inside a plastic bag, instilling fear in both the teller and other bank patrons.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, Coleman fled the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Pittsburgh Police’s Violent Crime Unit and Crime Scene Unit detectives and the FBI swiftly responded to the scene and began their investigation.

After reviewing available video evidence and conducting a thorough investigation, they arrested Coleman in connection with the robbery.

The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities are working to gather additional information on the case. Coleman’s arrest is a testament to the diligence and persistence of the Pittsburgh Police Department in apprehending those who threaten the safety and security of the community.
