NEW YORK, NY – The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in locating a group of unidentified individuals involved in the armed robbery of a 35-year-old cab driver on March 27, 2023. The incident occurred at approximately 12:05 AM in front of 65-23 183 Street, within the 107 Precinct.
The cab driver had been called to the location for a pickup. Upon arrival, he was approached by a group of males who forcibly removed him from the vehicle and fled in the stolen vehicle in an unknown direction. The victim, who was not injured during the robbery, immediately reported the incident to the police.
The NYPD has released video footage and photos of the individuals believed to be involved in the robbery.
