Three Men Arrested for String of Robberies and One Carjacking in Union County

UNION COUNTY, NJ – Thursday, Three men have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, aggravated assault, and weapons offenses. The arrests followed a multiagency investigation conducted by the Linden Police Department, Roselle Police Department, Elizabeth Police Department, Orange Police Department, and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office.

Alfred Pierre, 37, and Daron Thomas, 32, were arrested on April 4, 2023, while Isaiah Barrett, 32, had already been in custody in the Essex County Jail.

The police identified Barrett, Pierre, and Thomas as the suspects in five armed robberies that occurred in December 2022 and January 2023 in various municipalities. They were also identified as suspects in a carjacking that took place in January 2023 in Linden. All three defendants are in custody and housed in the Essex County Jail.

Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel commended the investigators who worked on the case and said, “Our goal is to seek justice for the many individuals victimized by these violent acts.”
