CHRISTIANA, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at the Christiana Mall on the evening of Saturday. At around 6:43 pm, officers were dispatched to the mall’s food court entrance, where they found three victims with gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to area hospitals and are listed in stable condition. Five additional individuals sustained non-gunshot-related injuries and were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Investigators are actively working to identify the suspects involved and have not yet confirmed the number of individuals responsible. The incident is believed to have resulted from an altercation between several suspects and at least one of the victims. Police are reviewing security footage and interviewing witnesses to piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
Following the incident, the mall was placed on lockdown and evacuated, with police conducting a thorough search of the premises to ensure the safety of shoppers and employees. The Christiana Mall is cooperating fully with the investigation and will be providing any necessary support to the Delaware State Police.
