Former NJ Gov Christie Climbs From 0% to 1% in Latest Presidential Poll
Former NJ Governor Chris Christie.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is on his way up, very slowly. Christie, the boisterous former governor seeking to be the next President of the United States, was polling at 0% in a recent Fox News poll for Republican presidential candidates in the 2024 election.

Today, a poll by the New Hampshire Institute of Politics shows the former governor and Trump frenemy making an upward move.

He polled at 1% in that poll.

The data used in the report from the Saint Anselm College Survey Center poll based on online surveys of 1320 New Hampshire registered voters. Surveys were collected between March 28th and 30th, 2023, from cell phone users randomly drawn from a sample of registered voters reflecting the demographic and partisan characteristics of the voting population.

In the poll, 42% of those questioned favored Donald Trump. 29% chose Ron DeSantis. Mike Pence, Chris Christie, Mike Pompeo and Rick Scott all polled at 1%.

The lack of interest in Christie as the GOP nominee was split evenly between genders. Both men and women rejected him at the same percentage.

Christie said last week that he would officially announce his decision within 60 days. He had spent the past few months bashing Trump, only to get him a 1% increase among voters, give or take a 2.7% margin of error in the poll.
