NEW YORK, NY – Yesterday, as a result of an ongoing investigation, the New York City Police Department has arrested 18-year-old Jayden Estrella of Manhattan in connection with an assault that occurred within the 33 Precinct. Estrella has been charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.
The incident took place on Saturday, at around 6:20 PM. The 26-year-old male victim was sitting in the back of a vehicle at 4126 Broadway when an unknown male approached the vehicle and fired several rounds, striking the victim twice in the right arm, once in the left arm, and grazing his face. The suspect then fled eastbound on West 174th Street toward Wadsworth Avenue. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and no other injuries were reported.
