NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a brutal robbery at the Times Square train station that occurred on Wednesday.
At around 3:45 AM, a 41-year-old male victim was walking down the stairs when an unknown male approached him from behind, kicking and pushing him down the stairs. The attacker continued to kick and punch the victim multiple times in the face and body before forcibly removing the victim’s wallet. The assailant then fled the train station on foot, heading southbound on 7th Avenue toward West 41st Street. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by EMS.
The suspect is described as a male with medium to dark complexion, approximately 5’10” tall, slim build, and between 30 to 40 years old. Police are hopeful that public assistance will lead to the suspect’s capture and help prevent future violent crimes.
