HARRISBURG, PA – Today, Attorney General Michelle Henry announced charges against seven individuals as part of a comprehensive investigation into drug trafficking in Lehigh County. A six-month investigation by the Office of Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation revealed a conspiracy among the defendants to distribute fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine across the region.
Ismael Morales, Jessica Morales, Mario Morales, Salvatore Rispoli, Felix Torres, Paul Blackwood, and Achim Smith are each charged with Corrupt Organizations, Possession with Intent to Deliver, Conspiracy, Dealing in Unlawful Proceeds, and related offenses. The arrests were made possible through strong collaboration with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners.
While executing search warrants, agents from the Office of Attorney General Bureau of Narcotics Investigation seized 94 grams of fentanyl and 10 fentanyl pills with a street value of approximately $19,000; over 7,000 grams of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $726,000; 1,000 grams of cocaine with a street value of $100,000; and nearly 2,000 grams of marijuana with a street value of approximately $22,000. Agents also recovered $65,000 in cash and three firearms.
Attorney General Henry emphasized the importance of investigating and prosecuting drug traffickers, stating, “The deliberate actions of these defendants to deal methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl destroyed lives for the sake of their own greed. These arrests should serve as reminders to predatory dealers: we will investigate and prosecute drug traffickers in any and all communities.” The cases will be prosecuted by Senior Deputy Attorney General Christie Bonesch, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
