NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect involved in a sexual abuse incident that occurred on Monday, March 13, 2023, around 8:33 AM. A 28-year-old female victim was working in the basement of a building near Myrtle Avenue and Nostrand Avenue when an unknown male approached her, grabbed her breast, pushed her down, and attempted to remove her pants.
The suspect fled the scene after the victim screamed, preventing further harm.
The individual is described as a male with a medium build and red beard, last seen wearing a black hat, black coat, white shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
Surveillance photos and video of the suspect have been attached at DCPI. The NYPD urges anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline.
