CRANFORD, NJ – On Thursday, Deshan Johnson, 37, of Newark, NJ, was arrested by Patrolman Ryan Drew for possession of CDS MDMA, possession of CDS paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant from East Orange. The arrest occurred after police stopped Johnson’s white 2003 Ford for a moving violation on North Avenue East at Forest Avenue.
Following a brief investigation, Patrolman Ryan Drew arrested Johnson, who was found to be in possession of CDS MDMA and CDS paraphernalia. Johnson was charged for possession of the substances, processed, and provided a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Johnson was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe a traffic signal, failure to keep right, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, and failure to exhibit a credential.
