Road Rage Incident Leads to Stabbing and Arrest in Roslindale

ROSLINDALE, MA – A road rage incident on Wednesday, led to a stabbing and subsequent arrest of Charles Wilkerson Jr., 27, of Norwood.

According to police reports, the altercation began when the suspect and the victim, who was operating a shuttle van with multiple occupants, engaged in a road rage dispute near 3841 Washington Street in Roslindale.

The confrontation escalated, culminating in Wilkerson stabbing the victim in the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the incident, Wilkerson turned himself in to the police, who had been searching for him based on his description and vehicle information. He now faces charges of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
