COLUMBUS, OH – Police in Columbus shut a drug dealing operation that was using a home near a local elementary school as its base of operations.

This week, two search warrants served by officers from the department’s INTAC Unit ended with a large amount of drugs and money being taken off the streets in North Linden.

“More than $180,000 worth of cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl, along with nearly $20,000 in cash was sized from the area close to Como Elementary School,” the Columbus Police Department reported. “Officers also found a pistol and a Kevlar tactical vest during the search.”

The case is part of an ongoing investigation by the Central Ohio High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force.
