NEW YORK, NY – A New York City Housing Authority glazier was arrested Tuesday morning for driving while intoxicated by officers from the city’s 94th Precinct. Police said Steve Morant, 54, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with blood alcohol content between .08 and 1 and driving while ability impaired by Alcohol.
Morant was arrested in Brooklyn at around 2:45 am this morning.
According to city records, he works as a window cleaner for the New York City Housing Authority and earns $79,115 annually as of 2018.
