NEW YORK, NY – A 70-year-old woman was the victim of a robbery and assault on Sunday. According to officers from the city’s 52nd Precinct, the woman was approached by an unidentified male at around 4:45 am inthe aera of 327 East Kingsbridge Road.
The man forcibly removed her purse, then elbowed her in the face, causing her to lose a tooth. Two good Samaritans were nearby and chased the suspect. They were able to recover her purse. The woman was reportedly in stable condition after the assault.
The suspect was able to flee. No arrests have been made.
