NEW YORK, NY – A 20-year-old male trying to break up a fight between two others in the Bronx was assaulted and robbed this weekend. The attacker even stole the man’s sweater, according to police.
According to New York City Police Department detectives with the 44th Precinct, on Saturday, at around 1:30 am, a 20-year-old male, was having a dispute with an unknown male individual in front of 1063 Teller Avenue when he was struck in the face and fell to the ground.
Police said a second male who witnessed the fight attempted to intervene as the suspect and an accomplice continued striking the victim while he was on the ground.

“A second victim, a 20-year-old male, attempted to intervene and break up the fight when the two individuals attacked him and struck him multiple times in the face,” police said today. “The individuals then forcibly removed the victims’ cell phones, sweaters, and a wallet.”
Police said both victims sustained head injuries during the attack.
No arrests have been made.
