FAIR LAWN, NJ – Police in Fair Lawn are asking residents to use caution today as an Idaho white supremacist group declared today a “National Day of Hate”.
“We are aware of the online campaign by domestic extremists calling for an anti-Semitic “Day of Hate” tomorrow, Saturday, February 25th,” the department said today. “At this time, there are no known specific or credible threats for the New Jersey area and we have taken the appropriate measures and steps to the ensure the safety of our residents and to those attending any synagogue in our Borough.”
Police said residents should call the department to report any suspicious vehicles, persons, or circumstances and not to assume someone else has reported a situation to the authorities.
